Immersive Photography: uma abordagem metodológica orientada pela prática para a pesquisa de fotografia de paisagem
Resumo
Nos últimos anos, houve uma mudança notável no campo do design em direção à pesquisa orientada pela prática, impulsionada pelo reconhecimento dos profissionais de design como contribuintes valiosos para a produção de conhecimento. No entanto, a falta de metodologias bem definidas para a realização de pesquisas conduzidas pela prática no meio acadêmico tem representado desafios para seu progresso e adoção generalizada. Este artigo tem o objetivo de abordar essa lacuna fornecendo exemplos de metodologias eficazes em pesquisas conduzidas pela prática. O artigo enfatiza a importância de estruturas robustas que promovam uma relação simbiótica entre a prática de design e a pesquisa, integrando a investigação teórica e a experimentação prática. Ele apresenta uma abordagem inovadora desenvolvida pelo autor durante seu doutorado, que contribui para os discursos em andamento sobre a pesquisa orientada pela prática em design. A metodologia proposta consiste em quatro estágios: o cenário, a coleta de dados, a reflexão e o feedback. Ao se envolver em ciclos iterativos de exploração, crítica e reflexão sobre o design, o pesquisador obtém uma compreensão holística dos processos de design e seus resultados. Essa abordagem facilita uma exploração aprofundada da complexa interação entre os conceitos de design, os materiais e a paisagem circundante. Em última análise, este artigo contribui para o discurso sobre a pesquisa orientada pela prática no campo do design ao apresentar uma metodologia que abrange os aspectos práticos, criativos e teóricos da investigação do design. Ele atende à crescente demanda por exemplos de metodologias eficazes e oferece um recurso valioso para pesquisadores e profissionais envolvidos em pesquisas conduzidas pela prática em nível de doutorado.
