Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
By submitting an article to the Book of Future Research, the authors agree to comply with the following Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
Duties / Responsibilities of Authors
1. Originality and Plagiarism – Only the original work of authors with no evidence of plagiarism is to be submitted.
2. Authorship – All significant contributors to the article should be listed as manuscript authors.
3. publications - Authors must not offer the same manuscript
• multiple times to various journals;
• that is research redundant; and
• concurrently to any other journal.
4. Sources acknowledgement- All other authors' work must be adequately and accurately acknowledged.
5. Conflicts of interest and financial support disclosure - authors should acknowledge individuals or organisations that have provided financial research support.
Duties / Responsibilities of Editors
1. Publication Decisions - Editors are responsible for deciding which of the manuscripts submitted to the journal should be reviewed or published.
2. Fair Process - Editors should ensure the integrity of the publication review process by not revealing the identity of authors and reviewers to one another.
3. Confidentiality - Editors must not reveal any information on the submitted manuscript (confidential documents) to any source or people other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisers, and publisher.
4. Conflicts of Interest – Editors and any editorial staff must not use pieces of information from the submitted manuscript (published or unpublished) for their research without the author's written authorisation.
5. Ethical Investigations – Editors shall conduct an appropriate and fair investigation into complaints.
Reviewer Responsibility
1. Integrity- Reviewers should keep all information regarding articles confidential.
2. Standards of Review - Reviews should be objective without personal criticism.
3. Review Decision - Reviewers' decisions and views should be with supporting contentions.
4. Time - Reviews should be completed within the specified timeframe.
5. Conflicts of Interest - Reviewers should not review manuscripts with conflicts of interest.
