This paper will concisely explain the MAIK programme and the roles of IMP and tuakana/supervisor. This paper will present a model of supervision that was used by the author to supervise ten students successfully; it is intended that IMPs and tuakana/supervisors might consult the model if they do not already have an approach of their own.
