In a sombre editorial titled PNG HEADED FOR DICTATORSHIP, the newspaper warned the move could be a beginning of a move towards a 'dictatorship style of government' in Papua New Guinea. Fortunately, the news media organisations in a determined show of unity moved to do their best to head off such a scenario. ER -
