A Response to Philip Culbertson's Presentation.

Abstract

The author responds to the paper written by Philip Culbertson which focuses on the topics of sex, gender and sexuality presented at a seminar held in the University of Auckland in New Zealand on July 18, 2008. She agrees with Culbertson about the lack of a dialogue between psychoanalysts and narrative therapists in the nation. She notes that narratives are one way that counselors can engage in play and meaning-making with their clients.
