Abstract
The article focuses on the involvement of the late counsellor Esther Hall with the Marriage Guidance Council (MGC) in New Zealand. In 1962, Hall started working for MGC which focused around social contact and community involvement. It cites the move of MGC to consider training non-medical and non-professional people. Tutors of MGC started to do more community work, such as pre-marriage courses.Downloads
