"Are You a Christian Counsellor?".

Abstract

The author talks about Christian counselling. He recalls that two conflicting reviews about his book "Caring for God's People: Counseling and Christian Wholeness" led him to question whether there exists an agreed definition of Christian counselling. He adds that there were instances in his being a counsellor that the boundaries between Christian belief and more amorphous spirituality tend to be obscured. It is said that Christian counselling follows the purposes of either liberating or disciplining a client.
