PANGAKO KO, (MY PROMISE): Como o design de publicação pode incentivar a manutenção cultural e a reconexão com a cultura filipina para as futuras gerações
Resumo
"Pangako Ko" é um trabalho centrado na manutenção e no reconhecimento da identidade cultural filipina no exterior por meio do design de publicações. Baseado em minha educação através dos olhos de pais imigrantes, fornece uma lembrança nostálgica para a futura implementação da cultura em design visual. O projeto tem como objetivo fundamentar e reconectar indivíduos filipinos por meio da contextualização e da crítica da cultura a partir de um ponto de vista de segunda geração. O projeto se baseia no significado conceitual de família. A base para esse projeto é promover e implementar práticas dentro dos relacionamentos internos e externos da cultura por meio do design de arquivos. A estrutura metodológica enfatiza a abordagem autoetnográfica e a investigação heurística. O resultado é uma publicação Z-Bind que comunica a estrutura de um filipino de segunda geração por meio de páginas de design gráfico interativo e de arquivo.
