Reflections on Warren Farrell's 'The Myth of Male Power'

  • Mike Murphy

Abstract

My response towards this book varied from astonishment, that I've never seen discrimination against men so clearly, to discomfort with what seems to be Farrell's bitterness and resentment towards woman, and some of the specious conclusions he reaches. Between those extremes, I experienced many painful memories of what it meant for me to grow up to be, and to be, a man.
